Charlotte music is influenced by many things in life and the situations it puts you in. From first impressions to long goodbyes. Love, loss and happiness. Arguements, breaking up and making up. These are some of the emotions, feelings and thoughts that she has portrayed within her music.
Born in Leicester, England in 1984, Charlotte Louise Stannett moved to the Czech Republic with her family when she was only 6 years old. From a very early age Charlotte began to sing, in both English and Czech languages. As a result of this she has performed in places such as the Trojsky Palace and the British Embassy in Prague.
After moving back to England in 2001, Charlotte went on to study music at University, achieving a BA hons degree in music and a Foundation Degree Popular Music. She is currently finding her feet as a singer/songwriter and is adding new material to her repertoire all the time. The songs that Charlotte composes focus on feelings, emotions and life experiences that she goes through. She write’s in the hope that the listener can relate to the lyrics in their own way.
